Pup play is when the little one acts out canine mannerisms and behaviours to assume the role of a dog or submissive puppy with a master or mistress or another puppy. Pup-play does not involve bestiality. The dominant role is taken by a "Handler," "Trainer," or a "Master." The submissive may be called a "pup," a "dog," a "stray," or in the case of a more aggressive or dominant participant that still identifies as a dog, an "alpha." In the pup-play community, biological canines are referred to as "canines," to differentiate between them and human role players (the pup, dog, or alpha). Pup play is more about being a playful, goofy being on all fours who shows his/her Master their love and devotion. Instinct also plays a big role in pup play.
At the nursery we are well equipped and experienced in pup play. We have a large dog cage, dog bed, food bowls, collar and leads chew toys and treats that will make any puppy content, We can play at many levels from someone who wants to dip his paws into the play or for fully fledged alpha pups who need time spent faithfully at the side of their mistress, mistresses or master.
